The Gap between Knowledge and Action is where potential goes to die by Magicthreadworks
How to Start? by Magicthreadworks

There are many a dreams one would like to achieve in one’s lifetime. Of which only few actually come to reality and most remains on “may be some day” shelve. Even realised why only few of our dreams actually shape up. Also, if you look closely, those dreams are mostly which were part of your default lifepath or current lifestyle.

To make dreams happen we often need to go out of our comfort zone and start doing things we have never done before, but we desperate want to.

To start with a dream

  1. Give it mind space — Spend a lot of time with your dream, in terms to detailing out what is it that you want to achieve and why? It is completely okay to not have all the answers at the beginning but it is important to keep your dream in forefront so that you live with the frustration of it not being a reality already and the exhilaration of it being a great success. This is also what people talk about, when they talk about manifesting something. You are ensuring that your dream is on the top of your mind and among the priortize instead of being a whim brooding in a corner.

  2. Start as Small as possible— A big dream can be overwhelming when you are looking as whole. you don’t have to deliver the perfect performance the very first day. Start as small as possible. Just researching and jotting down steps to make it happen are great beginning. You have to understand that “Action” is all that matters. Most of what you learn is on the job. So unless you start which actual first step on the job, may be for just 5 minutes, all of your research is waste.

  3. Give it your worse shot — Your first try sets the benchmark from where you need to improve. Hence aim to do your worse, keep your bar low. Remember slow and steady wins the race, those who run fast in marathon just burn out faster. If you aim for perfection in first try, you are not only delaying the process but also keeping the benchmark way higher to follow. Idea is to get I done in the first shot, as quick and dirty as possible, there are several iterations available to reach for perfection later. This will also help you bring your dream into prespective, rather than it being an impossible and overwheleming goal to go after.

  4. Give it minimum 5 minutes Everyday — Building anything takes time. The only way to build something long standing and of impact, is by working on it with patience and consistency. Work on your dream at least 5 mins everyday. How is it that your dream is one thing you want really badly to happen yet you don’t have 5 minutes in a day to work on it, let alone the whole day. This will ensure that you are on track and making progress.

  5. Only way to start is to Start Now — So why are you still here, just take next 5 minutes and start work on your dream. As it is never too late for it, similar it is never too early either. This moment is just right to begin. if you were looking for a sign consider this as the one.

Don’t let your dreams be castles in the clouds. You have all the will nrequired to lern skills and do hard work for make them a reality. It’s funny every human has this ability. All they have to do is start working towards it and be at it.
